North Carolina in a day

I am a traveling expert! Kidding; this is only my second time flying and I have yet to fly with my family, so experience is still needed but I am getting there. This time I flew to Charlotte, North Carolina to hang with my friend and see the awe inspiring Lizzo perform. Yes, I planned an entire trip around seeing her and no I’m not ashamed about it.
Anyway, aside from seeing Lizzo I spent the next day exploring the city according to some of my friends’ recommendations and must sees and let me tell you Charlotte is beautiful! Take this from a girl who’s lived in Florida her whole life seeing a different skyline makes you appreciate the beauty of skyscrapers and how they frame a city. I started out my day visiting a Donut shop because why not keep this experiment going in other states and advanced from there. I visited a few parks, an Italian restaurant, the mall (I know not new) and roamed the streets in uptown Charlotte. Finally, it was time for me to head back to the airport to drop of my rental and board my flight.
Drop off went so much smoother than pick did let me tell you but that’s a story for another time. The Charlotte airport is massive but efficient I never waited in a line longer than 10 minutes and the best part as with my life lately my phone was on the verge of dying. I was hoping to find a seat where I could charge my phone next to a plug but to my surprise the seats at my gate are fitted with a wireless charging station as well as usb and outlet plugs to be used when charging tablets, computer or other devices. Color me impressed. Hoping to plan another trip to explore the city some more with my family in toe but until then. Charlotte thanks for showing me some love.
Peace
