5 Things To Do In 2021

This year has been a wild one. I know that everyone is thinking the same thing. I don’t even want to get into it because instead of focusing on the negatives that 2020 has brought so many of us, I think that we should instead be focusing on the positives. There are so many! First, think about the positives in this year. What has brought you joy? What has been good? List those out for me because 1) I could use the positivity and 2) When you list them out, it is easier to see the beauty in these times.

For example, I’ve heard some people find beauty in being home more. This has allowed them to spend more time with their families. Others have found beauty in just being still for a little while, or having time to do more house projects. There really are so many positives – you just have to look for them.

Once you find the beauty in 2020, I want you to look forward to 2021. If this year has been a bad one for you, stop dwelling on that and look into the future. There are so many great things headed your way! To get you a little more excited about the future, Here are a few things to do in 2021, if you need a starting place when it comes to inspiration:

Spend More Time With Friends

I have learned a lot this year, so far, and one of those things has been to prioritize my friends and the people that mean a lot to me. If you have been following social distancing guidelines and the quarantine, then you probably did not see a ton of your friends group this year. That’s why now and into 2021, you should prioritize the relationships that mean the most to you. No matter how you feel about COVID, quarantines, or social distancing (I know that there are so many opinions!), we can all agree that the people who are important to you should be prioritized.

Go On A Trip

Do you need something to do right now? Start researching your 2021 travel! It’s one of my favorite things to do. Figure out where you are going, who you are going with, and when you are going. Then, start researching those areas to find the best things to do, the best places to eat, where to stay, etc. You do not have to book yet if you don’t know exactly how the climate is going to be, but prices are definitely right, so you might find a deal if you can secure your tickets now!

Move

Do you really want to make a huge change in 2021 to get the year started on the right foot? Well, think about it and then decide what you might want to do. One example of this is moving. If you are not happy with where you are currently living, switch it up and move! Just make sure to hire a reputable real estate agent to ensure that you are doing everything correctly. Agents, such as Coldwell Banker Vanguard Realty, Erin E. King MBA can make the entire moving process smooth and stress-free. For example, if you are looking at homes for sale in Ortega, Erin is the go-to person because he is extremely knowledgeable on the entire Jacksonville area. He says, “You want to walk around the neighborhood from the comfort of your own home. You want to get a clear picture about life in sample city. That is exactly what you get here. This website has been built with you in mind. From the highest quality property images to the most informative guides and blogs, he is here to make your home buying or selling experience smooth and stress-free.” He gives advice on his blog and website, so no matter where you are looking, check it out and then set up an appointment with him.

Go To A Sports Game Or Concert

Did you hear? Sports are finally coming back! But, there has been a lot of back and forth between “are they going to continue playing” and “are they going to stop due to COVID?” Nobody really knows what is going to happen, but take advantage of the sports while you can right now. In addition, get ready to book ALL the sports tickets, concert tickets, and more in 2021. 2020 has been a year of rest. Maybe 2021 can be a year of fun? Traveling, hanging out with friends, going to concerts, and more.

The Gym

Let’s be honest for a moment, there’s only so much you can do at home without the full lineup that a fitness facility can provide. Abs are cool, but sadly a lot of us have caught a bad case of what I like to call the “Quarantine 15.” Yes, the struggle has been real and everyone is in the same boat (take comfort in the numbers!). 2021 can be out year for getting back in shape…and no, I’m not talking about a round shape 😉

We cannot help the situations that we are currently in, but we can choose to focus on the positives within each situation. These are 5 things that you can do in 2021, giving you something to look forward to.
