So recently I got the chance to collaborate with a newly established company that launches TODAY!! Essentially Simple box is a monthly subscription box that provided you with one essential oil and recipes to create everyday items to use through out your home, body and even promote your health. The box I received contained the essential oil lavender. Now lavender smells amazing but I’ve always be skeptical about using it even in its’ purest form because I have sensitive skin, so natural I tend to stick with more neutral or none scented items. The box arrived, and I was so excited to open it up, everything was neatly organized and labeled; they even provided stickers to decorate my finished products. The box contained material to make an essential oil body sugar scrub, lavender roller ball blend, make up removers, and a blend spritz. The directions were clear cut and even told you what tool to use that was included in the box such as the bottle opener, funnel, and water doppler. My favorite items to use so far have been the makeup remover and the sugar scrub. The make up remover I used the first as I returned home to this awesome box and had to immediately put everything together! The circular pads soaked in the essential oil mixture and were just the right amount of moist when it came time to remove my days of make up. (I sometimes fall asleep in my make up, I know. I know. I’m working on it 😊) It left my face feeling clean and not completely dried out which is great because I am always left trying to let my face dry completely after using other remover wipes and then finding the closest bottle of lotion to slather all over my face. But then I tried the body scrub. This I had to wait on because after combining all the ingredients you must let it sit for 48 hours but by the time it was ready so was I. I just recently started getting back into the gym and my body is aching. But a nice bubble bath, lavender body scrub, and a glass of wine made for one happy mom. It even contained actual lemon zest and lavender flower buds which only added to the overall product.
The company was started by two friends who wanted to make it easier and well simpler for people to explore the world of essential oils and how they can be used in everyday life. Each month a subscriber will receive one full size essential oil, educational material and supplies to learn how to use in their everyday life. In the box I received it also came with a few surprises like the tumblewool organic wool dryer balls and an aroma therapy bracelet. So along with everything they provide to you regarding essential oils they partner with other companies who promote the organic and natural lifestyle. But one of the things that I love the most is they promote reusing and recycling. All their containers can be washed and reused or recycled. If you don’t recycle on your own they are willing to send you a prepaid box to return your empty or unused material up to 4 times a year. You can’t beat that! Also, during their pre-launch, they promoted by of coarse having people like myself test their first box but also by running a contest for all who entered their email before the launch date. For everyone who entered their email they were entered for a chance to win a year’s subscription on Essentially Simple. While that is just for one person, you also got a coupon for 25% off your first purchase and a founding member gift. Now I’ve tested the first box, but I totally entered my email to try and win that year’s subscription as well. If you get a chance, please check them out especially if you have been interested in a more natural and chemical free lifestyle. I can not wait to see what they have in store next and where they take this as they grow their fan base. It is always nice to be a part of someone’s dream. Here is the website to give them a look.
