Girl’s Trip to Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival

This is your sign to grab your girls and head to Disney World to spend the day eating, drinking, and having a good time.

In the four years, we’ve had annual passes I’ve never had a trip like this. Three other locals and I packed up for an overnight trip and spent the day drinking and eating around the Epcot World Showcase and we found some A-MAZING things to devour.

With so many countries to visit I’m going to share my top 5 items to grab on your visit.

This had to be first on the list because if I make it back before the festival is over I’m heading straight to France do not pass go, do not collect $200.

It looks so sweet and innocent but let me tell you this croissant filled with goat cheese had the entire group in a chokehold. It’s so warm, fluffy, and ugh the cheese! do yourself a favor and grab two when you order this bad boy.

Pair the first with this tasty frozen alcohol treat the La Vie en Rose Frozen slushy and you got yourself a party. Honestly any of the frozen drinks even the non-alcohol ones are a must. It’s Florida, its’ hot a frozen treat is a must!

If you need some protein in your life these wings from Japan will hit the spot! I grabbed these right before the Garden Rock concert and ate oh so good while Simple Plan serenaded me.

Now back to the sweet treats… Literally, anything in Norway is a must but the pride cake with the chocolate ganache was just as beautiful to eat as it was to look at.  It literally melted in your mouth.

It’s small but mighty and packs a punch with a slight almond taste so if you have a nut allergy please steer clear.

Last to mention but the first thing we consumed was these delicious empanadas in Mexico, paired with a frozen margarita and you start the day off right. Plus Mexico is the first stop when you enter the showcase and head to the left so why not?

So many more honorable mentions like the fish and chips which is a classic that you can grab almost anytime, the cheese crab wontons, and the arancini(fried risotto balls)  but don’t take my word for it go see for yourself. There’s also a few rides there if you’re into that sort of thing like the new Cosmic Rewind but let’s focus here. Grab some girlfriends, grab a ticket, grab a festival passport, and have fun!

XOXO,

Nifty
