Exploring Grapevine, TX and surrounding areas

Love is in the air.

Well, it was a few weeks ago when  I hopped on a flight to watch two people say I do in Grapevine, Tx. This was my first trip to Texas and I wanted to make sure I explored everything because as they say everything is bigger in Texas.

I can’t take all the credit for the hotel since I was there for a wedding, the wedding party received a deal when booking rooms but I will say Springhill Suites hotel did not disappoint.

Transportation service was available from the DFW airport to and from the hotel and the staff was extremely helpful and polite. With complimentary breakfast and wifi, the cherry on top was the indoor pool and jacuzzi while Texas was experiencing a cold front.

The best part aside from the accommodations would be that the hotel is located across the street from the mall and if you’ve never heard of Miss A’s image if five below and Ulta joined forces (don’t get any ideas)

Even though I was in town for a wedding I was able to meet up with some mom friends I’d met along the way and we spent a night out on the town, grabbing food, dancing, and I finally got to try the infamous In and Out burger!

Places to check out:

To my lovebirds looking for a place to get married Thornbridge is a beautiful spot located in Whitesboro, TX that is as beautiful on the outside as in for an intimate wedding.

All in all, it was the perfect trip to enjoy time with friends and celebrate love. Now the next time I venture to Texas hopefully I can make it to Waco to see what all the fuss is about. It just wasn’t in the cards this time around and yes I am planning on returning one day. Maybe I’ll bring the kids. (probably not)
