Pumpkins, Fall, and more activities

Can you believe we are almost at the end of 2021? Spring and Summer have come and gone and Christmas is right around the corner. As we round on Halloween I wanted to share some last minute stops around town that you can make to celebrate.

A must do every year for my family is to visit a small pumpkin patch and pick out pumpkins.

This is actually a tradition that my best friend started with her son and we joined in as more kids came along. Each year we take progress pictures that show how much they have grown and changed and each year we complain it gets harder and harder to get the shot and keep the kids focused but we wouldn’t change a thing.

Next we like to visit a local farm with a corn maze and the works to get those fall vibes and of course take pictures but most of all have fun.

Here are some local places to Jacksonville, Fl if you are still on the hunt for a tractor ride.

*fun fact these farms also host sunflower season in the spring 🙂

And of course it wouldn’t be a nifty blog post if we didn’t talk about a theme park or two to travel to as well.

We visited Wild Adventures this past weekend for their Great Pumpkin Luminights and had the best time. If you’ve never rode a big rollercoaster after dark I will say it is a must. The kids got to enjoy rides, eat all the snacks, and trick or treat around the park. Then once it got a little dark the illuminations began and the light shows were the main event.

I hope these ideas inspired you to find one activity to make your own, start a tradition, or just explore. Until next time.

XOXO,

Nifty
